Re-Emergence Day

Anyone remember when New Brunswick was having issues with people not using their recycling services enough in mid-winter? I think it was right after the 1998 Ice Storm.

Anyway, they started a campaign to replace the recycling 3Rs:
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
with
Reduce, Re-Emerge, Recycle

But Re-Emerge has so many syllables. I remember radio hosts stumbling over saying it. I’m sure I have a cassette somewhere…
